1. Information We Collect
Urself.me is a private AI personal growth platform. We collect information you provide during onboarding and daily use to power your AI secondary self — including basic profile details, personality assessment responses, life goals, mood logs, daily check-ins, and chat messages.
2. Account & Authentication
Urself.me uses Firebase Authentication. You may start anonymously or sign in with Google. When you link Google, your existing anonymous data is migrated to your Google-linked account so only you can access it.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to provide and improve the Urself.me experience: generating AI responses grounded in your personality and logs, tracking goals and mood trends, maintaining app performance, and providing support when needed.
4. AI Processing
Your chat messages, personality data, goals, and daily check-ins are processed by backend Cloud Functions to generate responses from your AI secondary self. AI processing is scoped to your account only. We do not use your conversation content to train public models or share it with third parties for advertising.
5. Chat Token Purchases
Optional chat token packs are processed through Dodo Payments. Payment details are handled by Dodo — Urself.me does not store your full payment card information.
6. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Firebase and Google Cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest. We apply strong security practices to protect your personal growth data.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal conversations, personality data, or chat history with third parties for marketing. We disclose information only when you request it, when required by law, or when necessary to protect user safety.
8. Your Rights
You can access, update, or delete your profile and account data from within the app. Deleting your account permanently removes your associated data from our systems.
9. Data Retention
Your data is retained while your account is active. When you delete your account, associated personal data is permanently removed subject to reasonable backup retention periods.
10. Children's Privacy
Urself.me is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as features evolve. Significant changes will be communicated within the app or on this page.
